Andrey Maslov, Director of the HSE’s Centre for African Studies and Seck Moctar, Head of Innovation and Technology Sector, UN Economic Commission for Africa, exchanged signed copies of the cooperation agreement. They met during the Africa World Summit on the Information Society that was held from October 9 to 11, 2024, at Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
As an academic and research institution, HSE and UNECA signed Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) on cooperation in the field of education, science, and technologies powered by the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program that aims to promote e-Governance, economic and technological development in Africa.
UNECA and HSE signed MOU to support the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Programme and e-Governance Knowledge Hub, jointly review and amend its architecture. They also arranged to plan, prepare, and review the yearly handbook «E-Governance in Africa».
This cooperation will last for 3 years since the date of MoU signature.
