The delegation of the Center for African Studies exchanged copies of the HSE cooperation agreement with Nkundwe Moses Mwasaga, Director General of the Information and Communication Technologies Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania.

The exchange of copies took place on the sidelines of the 1st Tanzania Artificial Intelligence Forum 2025 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on July 28, 2025.

The five-year agreement is aimed at establishment and promotion of academic and cultural cooperation in the field of exploring opportunities for sharing knowledge on e-governance and information and communication technologies.

In accordance with the terms of the agreement, the parties undertake:

  • to develop cooperation within the framework of the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program for African countries that has been implemented by the HSE Center for African Studies since 2022 with the support of the Russian Government and “Innopraktika” company;
  • to prepare joint expert and analytical publications on various aspects of digital development;
  • to jointly develop knowledge sharing programs for heads of relevant ministries and agencies.

Andrey Maslov, Director of the HSE Center for African Studies and coordinator of the Program, participated in the copy exchange ceremony.
