On September 30, 2025, Director of the HSE Centre for African Studies Andrey Maslov visited the National School of Government (NSG) of the Republic South Africa.
During his visit, Andrey Maslov met with the University’s Executive Management Team: with Acting Principal Ms Phindile Mkwanazi; Chief Director of Strategy and Systems Dino Poonsamy, and with Director of International Relations and Partnerships Bongani Mayimele. They discussed areas of possible cooperation within the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program implemented with the support of the Russian Government and “Innopraktika” company.
During a meeting, Andrey Maslov also presented an expert-analytical handbook Africa 2025: Prospects and Challenges, prepared by the experts of HSE Center for African Studies, and also the e-Gov Profile of the South Africa. Report e-Governance in South Africa 2025: Prospects and Challenges outlines South Africa’s digital governance strategy, highlighting key digital initiatives, efforts to stimulate digital inclusion and challenges remained in this field. It was prepared as part of the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
