From April 7-9, 2026, Africa’s largest tech and startup exhibition, GITEX Africa, took place in Marrakech, Morocco. The delegation of the HSE Center for African Studies participated in the event, and presented the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program.

The delegation included Andrey Maslov, Director of the Center and Program Coordinator, Maxim Zalyvsky, Project Manager and Deputy Coordinator of the Program, Anna Bondarenko, Executive Director of the «Intexpertise LLC», and Nikita Doronov, Research Assistant at the Center. On behalf of the collective stand of the Russian Export Center (REC), Andrey Maslov spoke about the Program and also presented the expert analytical report about e-governance in Morocco prepared by Program experts in cooperation with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).

The delegation members also met and exchanged contacts with officials from African relevant ministries and departments in the field of digital development, as well as private high-tech companies. In addition, expert analytical products and information materials developed during the Program were presented at the stand of the partner company «Intexpertise LLC».
