Approval of the ASCENT-Sudan project by the World Bank aimed at expanding energy and digital access through renewable systems and private sector engagement in conflict-affected regions. Launch of the first electronic signature and of the electronic notarized certificate under the Ministry of Justice in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Digital Transformation. The website of the Ministry of Justice allows access to: Electronic commercial registration services and Electronic intellectual property services.

Massive Internet blackouts due to the outbreak of war in the country, contributing to the slowdown of digitalization in the country.

Sudan signed a partnership with UAE with the aim of modernising government. Sudan joined the United Nation’s Better Than Cash Alliance. Establishment of the Digital Transformation Agency. Sudan joined Learning Passport programme from Microsoft and UNICEF with support from the Ministry of Education of Sudan. It is an e-learning platform, available as a web and mobile app.
