From April 21 to 23, 2025, Andrey Maslov, coordinator of the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program, and Philip Grinin, Deputy coordinator, made a working trip to Algeria, during which they participated in the international exhibition of information and communication technologies ICT Africa Summit 2025

The key theme of the event was the development of digital technologies and innovations.

The main thematic areas of the exhibition included:

  • Cloud computing
  • Network technologies
  • Internet technologies
  • Artificial intelligence (AI)

During the event, Andrey Maslov, Director of the HSE Center for African Studies, presented the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program, implemented with the support of Innopraktika”. He spoke about the main directions and progress of the Program, focusing on supporting the digital sovereignty of African countries by integrating innovative solutions into the public administration system.

The presentation was attended by representatives of relevant government digital and expert organizations in Algeria. In addition, on the sidelines of the exhibition, the delegation of the HSE Center for African Studies met with representatives of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (Le Conseil du Renouveau Economique Algérien, CREA), the High Commission for Digitalization (Haut Commissariat à la Numérisation), as well as the Group of Algerian Digital Actors (Groupement Algérien des Acteurs du Numérique, GAAN).
